This individual was part of the crew of the SS Venture on the expedition to Skull Island.

Biography[]

The sailor was hired by Carl Denham to an expedition to Singapore (never telling him and the other crew that he was actually going to Skull Island). This sailor can sometimes be seen on the Venture and can be seen clapping his hands along with some of the sailors including Venture Crewmember 26, Venture Crewman 10, and Venture Crewman 4 while watching Ann Darrow and Jimmy danced, which they enjoyed. He can be seen along some of the sailors who went to the island with Denham, Herb, Jack Driscoll, Bruce Baxter, Mike, and Preston. He survived the encounter with the Skull Islanders and he is seen among the crew throwing half the cargo overboard to lighten the ship. Then took part of the rescue party to rescue Ann. He retreated with Bruce Baxter, Venture Crewman 12 and possibility Venture Crewman 16 and Venture Crewmember 9(depending if his death in the deleted scene is canon or not) back to the basecamp in the native village. He is along with the sailors preparing to captured Kong. However, when Kong broke free, he and the remaining crewman retreated back to the lifeboats. As they make their way to the lifeboats, he and Venture Crewman 12 fire at kong, but He is ultimately killed along with Venture crewman 12, crushed by Kong against the wall.

  • Chris Bailey had also worked with Stephen Hall, Crawford Thomson, Ray Woolf, Matthew Chamberlain, and Todd Rippon in Hercules and Xenia as different characters.
